Are you ready for summer?  Better yet, are you ready to kick-off your summer in a real, relevant and enjoyable way?  I know I am!  One week from today we launch our Summer Kick Off and we have BIG things in store for each of you.

Friday, June 18^th we kick off with a special message from Christine Caine.  Christine’s ministry originated from Hillsong Church in Australia, and she is known for her “tell-it-like-it-is” and often humorous way of communicating profound messages of hope and inspiration.  She is a sought after speaker around the world, passionate about the God life and seeing the local Church flourish across the earth.  You don’t want to miss the unique word Christine has for us, and neither do your friends…so make sure you extend the invitation for this life-changing night!  Our children will have their own special program that evening (Babies-5th Grade).

Saturday, the 19^th is specially designated for YOU – our Dream Team (current and future).  Pastor David challenged us to become deeply planted in hisOrganic series.   Serving on the Dream Team is a real, relevant and enjoyable way to get connected with others while planting those deep roots.  We need your help to keep our Dream Team growing.  Do you know someone who needs that extra nudge to get plugged in at DC Metro?  This is a PERFECT opportunity to encourage them to see what serving is all about…invite them today!   We’ll hear a great word from Pastor David and have a little summer fun, too. Children’s ministry will be in full effect!

Finally, Pastor David will wrap up the weekend on Sunday, the 20^th with the launch of our One Prayer series – it will challenge us and get us excited about spending our summer with Jesus!

This weekend will be LIKE a mini-conference for you and LIKE summer camp for your kids!  It’s also meant to be shared with friends, co-workers, neighbors, and perhaps that great barista at your Starbucks.  So, what are you waiting for?  Extend those invites today!
